Abstract


Since the 80’s,the studies on the "Xueheng School" have achieved fruitful results.But most of these studies focused on the integrated research,which placed the "Xueheng School" in the framework of "conservative and radical",or took the case studies on individual characters.In this article,I take my research from the point of the elite ideology of the "Xueheng School".See them as one of the important part of the contemporary intellectuals.This thesis study on on their view of religion,political,education,and literature in order to summarize the elitism of "Xueheng School".From these work,three main features of their elitism appear.They are "the pursuit of permanent value","anti-populist" and "moral idealism".Though these research which can predicate the deep connection between the elitism and the Chinese traditional thought and the new humanism,it can be concluded that the dualistic view of the world is the original resource of their elitism. In nowadays, the mass culture is developing rapidly.At the sametime,its shortage are also increasing highlight.The research on the elite ideology of "Xueheng School",to a certain extant,still has a reference.
