Abstract


Modern Cultural Conservatism in China as part of the World Cultural Conservatism is bound along the order of the modern Western conservatism ( worldwide conservatism Inner Logic of Western conservatism is concerned ) . New humanism as the core of the modern Western conservatism - will inevitably one way or another linked with the old Chinese thought Chinese academia there is the study of modern conservatism as a simple object and did not refined profiling analysis . In fact, the Chinese Cultural Conservatism can be divided into feudal cultural conservatism and modern style cultural conservatism , Babbitt 's New Humanism in pointer , Wu Mi and Liang Shih cultural concept , is a modern - Cultural Conservatism an important part . Currently , academia Wu Mi and Liang Shih has been a considerable accumulation but how the of the literati groups and new humanism level of thought linked to become a core part of the new humanist scholar groups or a blank , making this fragmented state of new Humanism in China is difficult to demonstrate the existence of a complete intellectual history , cultural history , and literary history of the expedition brought a systematic analysis of China 's modern new humanism thought no small resistance . In view of this , this paper attempts to explore from the sense of the culture concept in terms of ideology and Babbitt Wu Mi and Liang Shih-chiu , in order to reveal the evolution of new humanism in the modern history of China , rheological process and its characteristics value , which explore the unique significance and historical value of the Chinese new humanism in modern literature and culture building , which provided for the modernization of our contemporary cultural theory and the construction of ideas worth learning ideas and specimens .
