The Expatiation of Sushi’s Poetics Thinking upon the Ontological Existentialist Horizon

Abstract


As one of the preterhuman, the unusual and peaceful poets in the history of China, Su-shi was a litterateur who resided really poetical in the truly world. The research about literary thinking of Su-shi was overrunning, but the systematic study on the poetics had never experienced through the perspective of existence in particular. Enlightened by and in comparison with Existentialist, the article is preceded with explanation about Su-shi’s poetics, mainly by phenomenological method, the primal view, and the creating ontological Existentialist horizon for operation to explore the origin of poetics and its inward feature.With the existing theoretical framework broken, the research is systematic, taking category as its essential investigation. Four basic areas about inbeing art selected, the disquisition concentrates on them for profound operation and analyses. The article consists of four chapters.Chapter One precedes with trait and standpoint of‘Tao’theory, analyzes the involuntary attribute, and mainly unscrambled the connect between Tao and Art deriving from the groundwork of Existentialist. In this chapter,‘Tao’was the base of Su-shi’s poetics, according to which precondition for explanation existed. Based on the current thinking of Confucianism, Taoist and Buddhist Criticism, ultimate thought radicated to the position of factuality. Meanwhile, Su-shi unsealed the ontological Existentialist horizon through focusing and exceeding on conventional distillate. By being placed in the actual survival, the transverse and transcend thoughtway is selected, the attributes such as obscurity, uncontrast and unchangeless of Tao exposured by Su-shi. Only by this way, based on Existentialist, was Tao shown through becoming and emerging of art. It was believed that art was the very right quomodo to Tao, for Tao and through Tao, that was to say, only through art, Tao could be established, visualized and lingered. In the view of Su-shi, living in the world, effort for the natural survival, beyond earthliness, holding indifference, otherwise belong to the right degage quomodo. That was how it was concluded that art bourn obtained, write following itself inclinations. So, art deriving from the survival and simultaneity aesthetic in the direction of existence was originated.Chapter Two concentrates on Existentialist Horizon, focusing on category‘author’s experience and understanding’making of poetic state, in the view of becoming trend. Firstly, it was believed that‘author’s experience and understanding’opened a constitutional horizon in seeking for the fountainhead of literature and art. Through the understanding itself upon life in the world,‘author’s experience and understanding’outspreaded the primal existent estate between substance and man, in which substance was just the same substance, man was man still, substance and man inosculate into the same world. This world was the existent world, meanwhile the world was poetic and aesthetic. From this, we could summarize that‘author’s experience and understanding’is the Existentialist base of the headspring on literature and art. The article reviews the process from‘Poem Revealing Ambition’to‘Poem Indicating Emotion’, investigates the epistemology reason about being defiladed and shelved, and affirms Su-shi’s theory contribution on‘author’s experience and understanding’. The article further reveals five taches becoming among the actual survival circumstances: owed originally, changed with substance, formed transcendental, structured integrated and remained in horizon. Secondly, it concludes that‘experience and understanding’is‘poetic’in nature at the base of Existentialist horizon.The third chapter mainly unscrambles such concepts as‘Substance’, reveals the natural state as well as poetry. Based on the foundation of Existentialist, there was a world in which the survival between man and substance was connected primary and symbiotic. With physical attribute shaded, human nature also forfeited simultaneity, and when physical attribute was cleared, the‘experience and understanding’as well as turned into perspicuity.‘Quiet was Rumpus, Transparency was Various’, this was the‘experience and understanding’, or the Inscape of substance, also the Inscape of aesthetic on art. The attributes such as‘visualize’,‘inspirit’and‘vein’were the all and the one in substance. In the living activities, it remained a roadway where poetic life and art were created:‘substance’opened wide itself, the‘experience and understanding’intergrows‘substance’.Against the background of ontological Existentialist vision, the fourth chapter expounds the poetic language theory. Su-shi considered the poetic language as the expression joining the natural and unaffected living state. With the original sentiment infiltrated out of the living oneself, the expression connected with‘experience and understanding’or‘substance’, following mysterious diction method to the whole world existed. During the process of poetic expression, it unseals the natural thinking, understanding and sensibility, including obvious and intensive delicacy upon the‘substance’and meaning and implication of the whole world on the ontological Existentialist horizon. The perfection Inscape of poetic expression was not gaudiness and ornamental with the language itself, but the natural and intrinsical expression diving through the ordinary living existence, making for the uncontrolled, unlimited and impregnable expression by the unbending life.In substance, the article reveals the thought of art hypostases at the bottom of actual existent situation processing the explanation upon ontological Existentialist horizon with inward relevancy on Existentialist and logistic framework in the modality of opus, excavated the role of Existentialist, both dormant and apparent, circumfusing‘Tao’,‘author’s experience and understanding’,‘substance’,‘language’. Based on this, the potential systematism direction of Su-shi’s poetics thinking is outlined clearly. As attempting and exploring, this article makes a preliminary study on Su-shi’s poetics thinking by placing central category on the ontological Existentialist horizon. Yet, a lot more fruitful and difficult researches are to be done.
