Curriculums, which are the basis of physical education, renovate in form and content with the development of society constantly. With the advent of leisuc era, people not only enjoy the fruits of development in the community, but also taste feelings of anxiety as well as confusion. From the external environment, although leisure life is the dream humankind constantly chases, the fierce competition and heavy pressure in reality leave people in a lost mood. From internal development, although the free life is the ideal people constantly chases, the loneliness in real life makes the people caught in a tasteless state. Faced with this dilemma, it is essential for education to address and answer the question how to guide people to eliminate leisure barriers and improve recreational \life reasonably. It is an opportunity to achieve the goal of education for physical education curriculum. However, there are few systematic research frameworks and complete content of leisure sports which in the initial research stage in China. There is no ready-made model for leisure physical education curriculum to refer. It is also a challenge to construct the physical education curriculum according to proper concept. Therefore, it is urgent to establish the leisure physical education curriculum to meet students’ needs and suit the society development.Using logical and documentary analysis, integrating theory with practice, and investigating of history and the status quo, the dissertation fundamentally researched the leisure, leisure education, and leisure physical education. It also analyses the social background and academic basis of leisure physical education curriculum. Conclusions as following,①The implication of leisure is the basic orientation to establish the leisure physical education curriculum. Leisure relieved from external pressures: The cultural and physical environment. It is a relatively free life. It is the behavior driven by interest in the heart instinctively.②Leisure education for life quality is the basic direction of leisure physical education curriculum. Leisure Education is essentially a quality education, which is the link of self-worth and "eternal soul". It is a comprehensive campaign to improve the quality of life through leisure. It makes people clear their own leisure values and objectives, as well as make people understand their own ways to improve the quality of life in leisure.③People-oriented leisure is the goal of leisure physical education curriculum Leisure Physical education is the life that people independently choose to participate in a healthy physical and mental development in the free time. It can not only ease the mental fatigue, access to the physical balance, also can win the freedom of the spirit, and create a spiritual pleasure.④Humanities social science is the theory support of the Leisure physical education curriculum. From the view of philosophy, it is the introspection to experience for freedom, and a remedy to stimulate creation. From the view of sociology, social development provide necessary material condition for leisure physical education and its’ harmony features provide monitoring of society. From the view of psychology, it provides psychology foundation to dispense the pressure, find a happy feeling, and experience a funny life.⑤Combination of theory and practice is the foundation of leisure physical education curriculum. Under the guidance of educator, leisure Physical education curriculums implement comprehensive physical and mental contents to achieve educational goals. The application discipline designed to adapt social development, meet leisure needs of students who can absorb the physical education nutrition from it. Consequently, this paper developed a universal, comprehensive and life-long curriculum goal; established the courses system including curriculum, activity; developed the means of the implementation of programmers; constructed evaluation index system involving behavior, health, and psychology. Trying to achieve such education goals as, Student master leisure physical education knowledge and skills; students improve the awareness of Leisure Physical education to choose healthy leisure life.Because studies of leisure physical education at an early stage in China, thus, the theoretical framework including leisure, leisure education, leisure physical education, provide a new perspective and guidance for people to observe and understand of leisure physical education. It is also compensation or reference to improve the current physical education curriculum. Naturally, I also deeply comprehend that the study is only preliminary theoretical exploration. Therefore, it needs further feasibility studies and continuous development.
