Abstract


Along with the pace of reform and opening up, China entered the era of popular culture. Emergence of mass culture, fundamentally changed the pattern of traditional Chinese culture, positive impact on the shaping of Chinese national character, aesthetic changes and social development of the concept of face. As an important part of traditional Chinese culture, culture in national vocal music ushered in a new development opportunities as well as facing a huge challenge. On one hand, culture and music culture from foreign national vocal music in touch, experience foreign culture brings new feelings, constantly enrich theory and connotation of national vocal music. The other hand, the negative effects of mass culture such as commercial taste heavy, lack of artistic personality, fun low had a negative impact on the development of national vocal music.
