Abstract


In the history of human development with continuous changes, ideology brings deep influence on the change of society as safeguard national interests of public opinion tool undoubtedly. Today, in the background of economic globalization, the exchange and collisions about cultures of different countries around the world, various anti-china forces attempt to dispel China’s mainstream ideology’s leading position, and traditional culture and modern culture interlaced, China’s socialist ideology under the guidance of Marxism facing great opportunities and challenges.This paper is based on contemporary reality, used history and logic method, theory and practice of the unification of method, explored the challenges and opportunities about socialist ideology construction in the multicultural background. On the one hand, in the multicultural background, the socialist ideology always representing the most public interests with scientific and dominant, it is can not allowed the erosion of social wrong thought, we must play better the integration function of ideology. On the other hand, in the reality of the increasing stratification in the ideas, the gap between rich and poor and diversification of the lifestyle, a small number of people fallen into question or even shaken about the dominant of socialist ideology, they were neutral on the direction of current society. Therefore, it has important academic value and practical significance that clarify the relationship between ideology, and clear essential attributes and scientific guidance of socialist ideology.On the basis of investigating the development process of ideology, this paper clarified the unique interactive value between the multi-cultural and ideological. The paper also profound, that we should always unswervingly adhere to the guiding role of Marxism in the multicultural context. Whether facing the hidden infiltration of Western social thought, or facing the worldwide cultural exchanges frequently and the expansion of the diversified pattern of domestic social thought, even though the tendencies of personal hedonistic breeding in the society, we must highlight the leading role of the socialist core value system, adhere to innovation and development, to enhance the appeal of socialist ideology.This paper analyzed and summarized the historical evolution of the concept ideology realistically. It also defined the essentiality of the ideology and reviewed the development of socialist ideology,positioning the socialist ideology contemporary value. Meanwhile, this paper related to the present situation of the domestic and overseas, seeking the connection between the multiculturalism and mainstream ideology, putting most forward effective measures to promote socialist ideology attraction.This article based on the contemporary construction of socialist ideology, proposed we should inherit and reference to Chinese excellent culture achievements and abroad, improved national ideology system scientifically. We should adhere to the guidance of scientific development, people-oriented, keeping pace with the times, constructing the national ideology theory system to adapt to socialist harmonious society reasonably.
