Abstract


Coal enterprises as special enterprises play a vital role in the development of thenational economy, and Chinese Government attaches great importance to theseenterprises. However, coal enterprises with the rapid growth of profit are facing aseries of problems in terms of production safety and social responsibility. With severecompetition and complicated market environment, the goal of the enterprise hasgradually changed from the profit maximization to the value maximization. Thetraditional method of enterprise value evaluation ignores other related factors, whichmakes evaluation result has certain limitation. So there is an urgent need to establishan integrated system to evaluate coal enterprise evaluation value.Based on the study of classic literature at home and abroad, the paper points outthat the factors related to the size of the enterprise value include not only economicfactors, but also social responsibility. After deep analysis on the characteristics ofChinese coal enterprises and the current values of the evaluation system, the papersummarizes the problems exposed by the coal enterprises in the value of theevaluation. Based on the characteristics of coal enterprises and the traditionalevaluation system, the paper establishes value evaluation system. The system includessix aspects: economic efficiency, legal responsibility, safety in production,environmental protection, charity and innovation. This index system also containsquantitative indicators, qualitative indicators and parts of the information are known,parts not clear. So the paper uses chromatography analysis to set indicator weight anduses gray system theory to calculate the overall value of the coal enterprises. Finally,the paper selects the Shanxi Coking Group Co., Ltd. as evaluation object to study theapplication of the enterprise value evaluation based on gray system theory. Theevaluation results can verify the feasibility and applicability of the method.The value evaluation system can not only calculate the value of the enterprise,but also draw a comprehensive ranking of the coal enterprises’ value. It is alsoconducive to the coal business managers to improve their management level andstrengthen enterprise resource integration to enhance the overall value. Besides, it promotes the enterprise to focus on the ecological and environmental protection,production safety and charity. Then, the enterprise begins to take responsibility forsociety. The above conditions create external environment for the harmonious society.
