Digital filter because the cost is small, flexible, stable, the internal noise tolerance and other advantages has been widely used, it is very important in modern communication component. And now the software radio technology in the field of communication has become a hot, general purpose digital filter, and the filter is very suitable for the fractional rate conversion software radio's basic ideas, and linear phase digital filter is communication an important indicator. The basic idea of ​​software radio is: based on a common, standard hardware platforms, software programming to implement the various functions of the radio, the digital signal processing and digital-analog converter as close to the RF antenna. The digital baseband filter has various uses, including the shaping filter, noise reduction filters, multi-rate filter, spectrum analysis filters. However, different communication standards for various filter indicator requirements are different, if for each intended to design a filter then occupied area is too large, if the general-purpose processor throughput and power consumption is difficult to meet the requirements of the system, then we need to a compromise solution, to meet the requirements, based on system throughput with sufficient flexibility to achieve the above and is used for various purposes in different communication standard filter, both area and power consumption is as small as possible. In this context, this paper put forward a good stability, low sensitivity wavenumber lattice filter structure for achieving universal filter architecture. Based on the analysis of various software infinite power filter and lattice wave digital filters based on the design of the universal filter architecture, and simulation and FPGA verification. Because the software to be compatible with a variety of radio communication standards, the communication standard different predetermined data rate is like, however, the total hardware platform through the ADC sample data rate is uniform, so there must rate conversion. Based on the analysis of the general rate conversion filter and Farrow structure is proposed based on a simple and practical fractional rate conversion in μ-Generator design and simulation. In a communication system, especially in the phase modulation communication system, the digital filter is a linear phase characteristic is very important, often used in modern communication order low latency small wireless impulse response filter with complex coefficients, but this filter is difficult to obtain linear phase. This article will design predecessors real coefficients infinite impulse response filter algorithm for linear phase extended to infinite impulse response filter with complex coefficients areas, and conducted matlab verified.
