With the globalization of market economy, the centralization of the industry, the corporate groups become more popular and the competitive advantage become more obvious. As a typical complex system, corporate groups encounter more and more disturbing factors in the process of the development. The managers of the corporate groups pay much more attention on the brittleness which is an important feature of enterprise groups. No matter what macro factors such as the turbulence of macro economy, the law’s alternation, the development of science and technology, or other micro factors, such as the product quality problems, loss of human resources, marketing investment mistakes and so on, all these factors can possibly affect the operation of the corporate groups. How to make the corporate groups strong enough to have high immunity to against the disturbing factors, to make sure the stable development are the main contents of this thesis.This thesis is to apply the principles of artificial immune system to the corporate groups’brittleness management. Using immune model and algorithm, this paper establishes the diagnosis and warning system for the brittleness management of the corporate groups. In the course of establishing the diagnosis and warning system, at first, it need to analyze the brittleness of corporate groups, then establish the brittleness system as the criterion of the brittleness judgments based on the brittleness factors, at last, definite the different state when the brittleness is stimulated. After the establishment of the diagnosis and warning system, this paper to analyze, predict and manage the corporate group brittleness.According to the theoretical assumptions, model building, statistical validation and empirical analysis, this thesis uses SPSS17.0, MATLAB6.5 and other mathematical statistics tools to analyze the situation of DongFeng Motor Corporation, after the establishment of the diagnosis and warning system, through the research, this thesis obtains the following findings and conclusions.(1) After the inspiration of the principle of the artificial immune system, this thesis first proposes to apply it to the brittleness management, to resolve the problems the corporate groups encountered. Using the diagnosis and warning system to manage the brittleness of corporate groups not only can enhance resistance but also can keep them develop well. The three main functions of immune system this thesis applied are physiological defense function, self-stability function and immune surveillance function.(2) The brittleness diagnosis and warning system model first takes immune algorithm into consideration, and after the model is build, this thesis using it to analyze and predict the risk the corporate groups might encounter. In this model, this thesis definite the brittleness, and give the direction of how to calculate the brittleness, at the same time, this thesis depict the different situation the corporate groups may encounter, such as the normal situation, the situation before and after the bankruptcy.(3) From the aspect of the corporate groups management and control, what this thesis research about is not only good for the corporate groups inner management discipline, theoretically and systemically analyze the development of corporate groups, but also good for the development and perfection of the whole corporate groups’management system. It is creative and innovative to apply the artificial immune system to the corporate groups’brittleness management, and to use the brittleness diagnosis and warning system to manage and control the real corporate groups. It is a good way to reflect the characteristics of the combination of theory and practice.
