Abstract


In order to implement the strategic plan for the party's congress and national \be referred to the national strategic level of regional economic development . March 14, 2011 of the Eleventh National People's Congress adopted at the fourth meeting of the \, the main function of a clear positioning , efficient use of land space , the pattern of regional development between man and nature in harmony . The current cross-strait relations had a positive significant changes in the cross-strait situation to accelerate the development of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits , provides an important opportunity to promote all-round cooperation with Taiwan , is conducive to safeguarding the interests of the nation's core . In the context of this era , to increase the development of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits is the perfect coastal economic layout , the urgent need to achieve sound and rapid development of regional economy ; strengthen cross-strait exchanges and cooperation to further develop the domains of Fujian Province Taiwan advantages, a major initiative to promote the great cause of peaceful reunification of the motherland . Thus, the implementation of the national strategic plan to increase efforts to develop the economic zone on the west side of the Straits is no doubt about the reality of the economic and political significance , it is necessary for this core national interests on major issues to be explored . In this regard, a profound analysis of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits to intensify efforts to develop the background , outlining the economic zone on the west side of the route to intensify efforts to develop graphic evaluation of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits intensify efforts to develop the comprehensive advantages and obstacles ; clear the West Coast Economic Zone to increase efforts to develop strategic positioning . Finally , through a comprehensive analysis of earlier results , building the economic zone on the west side of the main functional areas into index system , the use of 23 indicators for analysis of the state space covered by the law on the West Coast Economic Zone 21 prefecture-level cities , and clear each level , the main function of positioning , to further improve the economic zone on the west side of the Straits intensify efforts to develop realistic path .
