Abstract


The theory and practice of career planning come from America at the beginning of 20th century. It experiences from vocation guidance stage to career guidance stage,from static stage to dynamic stage,from sigle election stage to several times election stage. After a century developed and finished,Amerian career planning has became a new vocation guidance model and it quikly blends in schooling, which leads to the mushrooming of American career eductional development in the 1970s. The system about college student occupational planning that is scientific,comprephensive and logical had engendered. Face to the firmly competition of talent all over the world,expecially to the austure situation of obtain employment,the successful method and experience of American career planning were adopted by many countries and areas all over the world.To study the theory and practice of American career planning will consummate and improve our theory and practice of college student occupational planning and enrich content of college student career planning. consequently,the thesis hopes to get some useful experiences and lessons from research on career planning in American University.The tesis makes up of four parts to discuss it.Firstly, it studies the (?)ch status on the theory and practice both at home and abroad.Next, it reviews the development of career guidance for over a century in America and current stage and development of the career planning in American university. Thirdly, to intruduce the successful experience from individul,unniversity and society. Certainly,American college career planning is not perfct,it Also has its limitation. excessively rely on testing means, methods and theories lack of applicability and the imperfection of collectivisim. Therefor, it is necessary to realize localization on American college career planningAt last, by draw lesson from Amerian college career planning,we can design and improve our logical system on our college career planning.To hope that it can offer good service for our college students.
