Abstract

Finite volume element (FVE) is a commonly used method of partial differential equations discrete method recently developed second-order mixed finite element method because the body has to keep the local conservation and control structure and simple, people pay attention , this article will methods for the corresponding discrete system design fast algorithm first , for ' kind of elliptic problems with jumping coefficients in the second-order mixed layered base station finite volume discrete systems , the use of two commonly based preconditioner , ILu and the AMG PGMRES (m) method for solving numerical results show that their solution efficiency is not high , the number of iterations depends on the mesh size and jump coefficient is therefore necessary to develop a new efficient preconditioner then, Feng Wen discrete systems designed for the above two kinds of pre- conditions : the block diagonal preconditioner and the two levels of the pre- conditions of the former, in the ' cause triangulation given under the corresponding theoretical analysis, the pre- condition system spectral condition number ' cause bounded conclusions numerical results show that the pre- conditions of our design is efficient and appropriate PGMRES (m) method significantly reduces the number of iterations , which one depends on the grid size , and for jumping coefficients and restart parameter m are a sensitive selection
