Abstract


After the economic crisis,all countries look forward economic recovery. Therefore ,the America rollouts the Carbon Tariffs Plan with elaborate arrangement. It is well-known that climatic issues have been concerned in resent years. Consequently, any article in the name of environmental protection will always get supported. Then low-carbon economy gets popular under this circumstance .If low-carbon economy is political will of every country, then carbon tariff may have given expression to the mind of governments of developed countries. That is to say developed countries attempt to shirk their responsibility through the medium of carbon tariff. Obviously, this is a good way to gain in both fame and wealth for the U.S.A. However , China may be confronted with the very devil if the Carbon Tariffs Plan comes into effect . Thus, the paper is going to analyse the carbon tariff’s influence on chinese foreign trade and study ways of coping.The paper exactly makes the“impact”and“coping ways”as the center. Research background and substantive problems of the carbon tariff are the beginning of the article. Then connections between the carbon tariff and chinese foreign trade comes next. In the end of the article ,we will acquire some solutions from two aspects. This study shows that carbon tariff policy will worsen Chinese economy, exports of energy-intensive goods will fall sharply, products price will go up, business costs will increase, international competition ability will be weakened .China should use the framework of the multilateral trade organization to limit the United States carbon tariff policy and make adjustment on domestic industrial structure.
