Abstract

This multiresidue method was studied and optimized separately for the determination of organochlorine HCH and DDT pesticides residues in Aquiculture Water and Sediment, and Organic Phosphorous Dimethoate, Methyl parathion and Malathion pesticides residues in Aquiculture Water. To give practical to optimize the multi-residue analytical methods. A single laboratory validation was performed based on recommendations by EU. Discussion, detailed estimation procedures and comparison on two defined about2times Signal to Noise Ratio and USEPA "Method Detection Limit" were given. This multiresidue method was studied for the determination of Organochlorine pesticides residues in Aquiculture Water and Sediment, The recovery and intra-and inter-day precision:The results show that an average recovery of71%to119%with coefficient variation less than9%in Aquiculture Water and an average recovery of77%to116%with coefficient variation less than11%in Sediment, were both achieved for the Organochlorine HCH and DDT fortification levels of2.0×10-5mg·L-1to2.5×10-4mg·L-1in Aquiculture Water and1.0×10-3mg·kg-1to5.0×10-3mg·kg-1in Sediment, respectively. The method’s limit of Detection estimated for organochlorine HCH and DDT in Aquiculture Water and Sediment, the limit of detection(LOD) for this method as defined by two times signal to noise ratio(blank sample) was1.8×10-6-3.8×10-6mg·L-1;4.7×10-5-8.8×10-5mg·kg-1and by US EPA was3.1×10-6-4.7×10-6mg·L-1;1.0×10-4-2.0×10-4mg·kg-1, respectively. This multiresidue method was studied for the determination of Organic Phosphorous pesticides residues in Aquiculture Water, The recovery and intra-and inter-day precision: The results show that an average recovery of91to103%with coefficient variation less than7%were both achieved for the Organic Phosphorous Dimethoate, Methyl parathion and Malathion fortification levels of2.0×10mg·L-1to1.0×10-3mg·L-1in Aquiculture Water. The method’s limit of detection estimated for Organic Phosphorous Dimethoate, Methyl parathion and Malathion pesticides in Aquiculture Water, the limit of detection(LOD) for this method as defined by two times signal to noise ratio(blank sample) was9.1×10-5-1.6×10-4mg·L-1and by US EPA was1.4×10-4-3.3×10-4mg·L-1respectively.The results are up to the standard set by EU regulations.
