Abstract


Objective: To investigate the influence of HLA-DRB1polymor-phism onresponse to the antiviral effect of ADV in Zhuang patients with chronic hepatitisB in Guangxi Region.Methods：94Zhuang patients with chronic hepatitis B of Guangxi Regionwere selected from the patients who were treated with ADV for24weeks inInfectious Diseases Out-patient of the First Affiliated Hospital of GuangxiMedical University from October2008to May2011. They subjects weredivided into effective group and ineffective group according to the therapeuticeffect. HLA-DRB1*07，13in the peripheral blood of two groups were detectedby polymerase chain reaction with sequence specific primer(PCR-SSP) method.The frequencies of HLA-DRB1*07and HLA-DRB1*13were analyzedbetween the two groups.Results:（1）There were5patients with HLA-DRB1*07positive ineffective group，and the frequency was14.29%；there was1patient withHLA-DRB1*07positive in ineffective group，and the frequency was1.69%.There was statistical significant differece in the frequencies of HLA-DRB1*07between two groups (14.29%VS1.69%，χ~2=3.911，P=0.048，OR=9.667）.(2)There was no HLA-DRB1*13positive patient in two groups, and thefrequencies of HLA-DRB1*13in two groups both were0. Conclusions: HLA-DRB1*07gene might be associated withineffectiveness of ADV treament in Zhuang patients with chronic hepatitis B inGuangxi Region, and we can predict the antiviral effect of ADV by detectHLA-DRB1*07gene.
