Abstract


GPS and GIS technology are being used in almost all the vehicle monitor systems. The development of Internet technology saw the entering of the Internet age of GPS vehicle monitor system. WebGPS, combined with GPS, GIS technology and Web, has become a new application form for the GPS positioning system to be transmitted by the Internet.The thesis designs a vehicle monitor page client system based on the Django framework. Through the system, users can realize vehicle location positioning, playback of vehicle history track, vehicle basic information inquiry, vehicle statement inquiry and user parameter setting on the Web browser. The thesis?s main responsibilities and achievements are as follows:(1) Page client framework design. The system?s general framework is designed according to the basic needs of Web GPS system. Considering the characteristic of system, Django framework is chosen to set up Web server and ExtJS framework for the design of front page.(2) Django framework design. The MVC development model within the Django framework is introduced. All the modules within the Django framework are designed according to the characteristic of MVC development model.(3) Design of the page client function. The establishment of page client development environment, as well as the design of vehicle positioning and vehicle statement inquiry, is introduced, including WebGIS design, ExtJS design of front page, the design of view function within the Django framework and the realization of Ajax.(4) Design of data base. It mainly covers the selection of database system, the design of database table structure, the design of E-R model of database, the establishment of database tables and the link of Django model and database.(5) The issue of page client. It introduces the method for Django application program to be issued on the apache server.
