Abstract


1920to1940is an important and crucial period of the formation and development of Chinese art songs. The early1920s,this new musical art form of art songs into our country and cleverly combined with elite cultural traditions, thus forming a the Chinese real sense of art songs. In the subsequent30years, China has undergone a secondary major historic change, the democratic revolution and the war of national liberation, and Chicese art songs is in this historical context gradually formed and developed, and become the historical period is the most important one of the musical art form. At the same time, many of the composer in the creative process of Chinese art songs full use of the subtleties of Western music, making this period of Chinese art songs, music creation and content both showingnation with the spirit of the times, but also to expand the new ideas and the direction of the music creation, formed a unique artistic style of Chinese Art Songs of the1920s to1940s, which the Chinese art songs to a whole new and important historical stage.In this paper, from the historical context of the art of songwriting music its unique artistic charm as the starting point, focusing on the background of the creation of art songs in the1920s to1940s, the art style, creating forms and performances formanalysis and research, combined with vocal concert of some of the results of theoretical studies, in order to make more awareness, understanding and acceptance of the unique artistic charm and value of this unique musical art form exudes.
