Abstract


SME has become an important source of economic development in the economic status in China. the development of SME in China provides an important driving force for our country’s technological development and technological innovation. However, its situation is difficult, simply because the funds restrict its development. This has been the most critical factor that restricts its development, compared with Europe, Japan and other developed countries. There are still many difficulties in the financing of SME, which also makes its development in a certain stage encountering a“bottleneck”. At present, it has become a key factor relevant to SME surviving and smooth development in China’s science and technology financing.Firstly, the article takes a general review on the theory of capital structure and corporate finance theory, and tries to find a way for technology companies to take alternative financing strategies in theory, and to clear the way theoretically for SME financing. In the following chapters sort out and summarize the research literature of native and foreign scholars’studying in the past on SME financing and find the current situation and existing problems of SME financing. The literature review also involves the financing Countermeasures. Through the literature review, we find that lack of direct capital market financing channels is an important reason which caused SME financing difficulties.Therefore, the first half of the article analyzes the current financing difficulties faced by SME and the reasons for this situation. And toward the difficult problems of SME financing, strategies and solutions are given in the article. Finally from capital market perspective, and the corporate life cycle theory, the article studies the capital markets which SME can use for financing and alternative financing strategies at different stages of SME to achieve the best results of financing, minimizing the cost of financing and obtaining the maximum benefit, and to help SME according to their own situation successfully select the appropriate capital market for financing.
