Abstract


In the current telecommunications, more and more traffic would like tobe transferred by IP. SDH transmission network technology has not beenwell supported the data IP business transfer requirements, the intelligentoptical networks based on OTN technology has been widely developmentand research.However, in reality, the traditional SDH based on multi-servicetransmission platform technology of MSTP transmission network stillwidely exists. SDH with its reliable transport capacity, flexible multiplexingtechnology, powerful protection and recovery function, especially in somespecial network, still has a certain vitality.The sub network connection protection (SNCP) is one the basic trafficprotection in SDH, Due to the path overhead monitoring method, avoid theend of MS overhead, so is much easier to realize. the SNCP networkstructure has strong adaptability, and switching conditions are local, withoutthe use of the APS protocol, which reduces the switching timeThis article makes a deep analysis of SNCP, and extend the basic SNCPmodel, so that SNCP can meet user’s more diverse and complex demand.
