Abstract


Residents' Committee is a grass-roots organization growth in traditional Chinese soil , lies the traditional Chinese \This native and revolutionary environment , given a unique neighborhood committees and action strategies . Preliminary until the reform and opening up , the neighborhood committee 's work has been with considerable efficiency and energy . However, the process of modernization of far-reaching changes to the structure of the state power of nature and neighborhood space . On the one hand , after the reform and opening up of national and state power way produce profound changes ; On the other hand , the neighborhood space for modern reshaping . In contrast, as an agent of the state at the grassroots level , the traditional work of neighborhood almost no change. We find that , under way squeeze in state power and neighborhood space , the neighborhood developed a unique action coping strategies , \Such action strategy around the goal of state power and not the substance implement , but only perform to the neighborhood layer by low households, floor leader of the old party members , activists \Thus, the the harmonious community building goals has been hampered . Previous studies from the point of view of the institutional, legal and other , while the lack of historical analysis and space analysis . History and space dimension to the analysis , an analysis from the organizational level of the neighborhood 's status and its action strategies , in order to in-depth understanding of the connotation of building a harmonious community , thereby serving the community building practice .
