Abstract


Embed Mobile Database System is a database management system which supportsmobile computing or something specific computing mode. Database system is integratedwith operating system and application and operated on various intelligent embedequipment or mobile equipment. Embed Mobile Database includes some key technologiessuch as replication and caching of data, data broadcasting, query and optimization ofposition, process of mobile transaction.This thesis takes replication technique in primary technology of Embed MobileDatabase as the main content.It contains replication technique of traditional distributeddatabase.And it analysises the reason of distributed database not supporting mobilecomputing environment well.And it brings out Two-Tier Replication Technique andThree-Tier Replication Technique of Embed Mobile Database.It carries on analysis conflict problem of replication technique and brings outTwo-Tier Replication Scheme and Synchronization Replication Scheme in the light ofconflict problem:1.Two-Tier Replication Scheme adopts bidirectional and synchronous replicationmethod. Embed Mobile Database detects and solves conflict of renewed data whichdatabase server downloads to synchronous server. And Embed Mobile Database uploadsrenewed data to synchronous server. Synchronous server detects conflict of renewed data.Synchronization Replication Scheme adopts upload transaction arithmetic based on RelateTransaction Scheme, upload transaction arithmetic based on Time Limit Scheme andRelate Transaction Scheme-Time Limit Scheme replication arithmetic based on twoconflict solve scheme. The timing complexity of upload arithmetic is O(n).2.When carring on experiment validating, The Result of Two-Tier ReplicationScheme is Embed Mobile Database detect and solve conflict before submitting tentativetransaction. It can avoid to transfer centain cancelling transaction to database server. And it can reduce the quantity of data transmission and enhance autonomy of Embed MobileDatabase. The result of Synchronization Replication Scheme is the quick time of detectingconflict. It can advance efficiency of synchronization well.The two solutions which aim to confliction can achieve finally consistency of thewhole Embed Mobile Database System in application. And it can also enhance user tastingof Embed Mobile Database application.
