Abstract


In2011, the state has adopted a free-opening policy of the Public Library Public Library became an important position of the national cultural strategy. The library is open every closely linked with the social environment. Open is the eternal theme of social development, the eternal theme of library development. The degree of openness of society, but also affect the library open form, a review process of historical development of the library, we can see from closed to open, library inexorable law of development. Library resources and social environment of matter, energy and information exchange determine the degree of openness of the library, at the same time determine the survival and development of the library. Collection development policy as a guide for guidance Collection Development work has played an indispensable role.Based on the existing research achievements on the library collection development policies at home and abroad, on the basis of summarizing domestic and foreign research present situation and development trend of library collection development policies, draw lessons from the advanced theory and method of use for the study of collection development policies. Based on the library collection development policy in anhui province as the research object for investigation, interview investigation method and the use of case analysis and other research methods, and obtained the first-hand information, the library collection development in anhui province after the free and open policy has made the comprehensive system of research and analysis.
