Abstract


With the rapid globalization of economics and more fierce international market competitions, in order to enhance the core competitiveness, the enterprise starts to employ the third-party logistics service provider to deal with logistics operation. To participate in the international competition with the holistic optimized supply chain, on one hand, the enterprise reduces the logistic cost, on the other hand, improve the customer service level and competency. Besides the profits of letting the third-party logistics service provider manage logistics operation, there are also risks existing. To ensure the success of outsourcing, the enterprise should select the third-party logistics service providers (TPLs) through appropriate method. This thesis is helpful for the enterprise to reduce the logistic cost, increase reaction speed to customers and increase economic performance.Based on the analysis of existing methods of third-party logistics service provider selection, this thesis studied on how to establish evaluation index system of third-party logistics service provider and select the optimal third-party logistics service provider. Documentary research method is used to definite the optional evaluation index, then selecte a key index through expert inverstigation, determine the evaluation index system. Based on the evaluation index system, intuitionistic fuzzy set theory is used to provide a method to make the third-party logistics service provider selection. The purpose and significance of the study lies:on one hand, to analyze and study the principle and method of determining the evaluation index system, and to provide the final evaluation index system; on the other hand, to provider a method for selecting third-party logistics service provider based on the intuitionistic fuzzy set theory, and a case of third-party logistics service provider selection is given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.This article has mainly completed three aspects research works as follows: Firstly, evaluation index system of the third-party logistics service provider. Documentary research method is used to definite the optional evaluation index, then selecte a key index through expert inverstigation. determine the evaluation index system.Secondly, the method for selecting third-party logistics service provider based on intuitionistic fuzzy set is given. Through transformations between linguistic terms and intuition fuzzy numbers of index weights, numerical value and intuition fuzzy numbers of cost-type or benefit-type index evaluation values, five or nine granularity linguistic terms and intuitionistic fuzzy numbers of index evaluation values, a model for ranking alternative companies is established to calculate comprehensive evaluation value, group comprehensive evaluation value and the final degree of dominance.Thirdly, a case about third-party logistics service provider selection is analyzed. This case is about a third-party logistics service provider selection of an company, which demonstrates the operation of the method for selecting third-party logistics service provider.By the end of this thesis, the main research results and conclusions, major contribution and limitations, and requiring work for further research are summarized.
