Abstract


Insurance salesmen are the main force of the insurance business development,but the turnover rate is high, according to the survey report Hewitt, the insuranceindustry turnover rate is the highest in the industry, the sales turnover rate is higher.High turnover is a difficult problem to perplex the development of insuranceindustry, this paper tries to find the factors influencing turnover from a personalperspective, so as to solve the problem in theory.As enablers of insurance business, they undertake the mission of developmentof the company at the same time, also bear the enormous pressure, they couldn’tbalance work and family because of limited time and energy. Work family conflictaffect the individual’s emotion, is not conducive to complete the performance, whenthey take orders and wage pressures,they will have a tendency to leave. How toadjust the work family conflict is a key, this paper research the influence on theturnover intention research, and we found self-efficacy can alleviate the effects ofstressors on employees’ psychology and behavior, self-efficacy refers to the belief orfaith of a person, they believe they can deal with the problem. People often only payattention to the objective existence of the force, but ignore their strong belief whichis the most effective treatment of alleviating work family conflict.Taking insurance salesmen as the research object, and research the mechanismof work family conflict affect turnover intention, and the regulation of theself-efficacy. The paper has get the following conclusions after analyzing the datausing SPSS18.0: (1) Work family conflict has positive effect on turnover intention of theemployees in insurance industry, and work family time-based conflict, familypressure time-based conflict, work family pressure-based conflict and family-workpressure-based conflict have a significant positive effect on turnover intention, andwork-family behavior-based conflict and family-work behavior-based conflict havea positive impact on turnover intention but not significant.(2) Self-efficacy can regulate the relationship of work family conflict andturnover intention, namely,when individuals face work family conflict, the peoplewith low self-efficacy can generates turnover.In this paper, we have proved the relationship among work-family conflict andturnover intention, this conclusion has the important practical significance, too highemployee turnover rate is bad for the enterprise. On the one hand, it will increase thecost of enterprises, for example, hiring costs, training costs; on the other hand, thehigh turnover rate would have a negative impact on the company’s reputation, and itis not conducive to the staff’s stability. Therefore, enterprises can take measures toreduce turnover intention according to the conclusions of this study,for example, theenterprise can organize effective training to enable employees complete the order ina short period of time, ease the pressure of work; also can improve employee self-efficacy to improve work family conflict negative effect on turnover intention.
