Abstract


An old saying goes that hunger breeds discontentment. As the most basic needsof people, food and beverage also reflects the level of consumption of a country or aregion. Along with the continuous development of China’s social-economic and thecontinuous improvement of people’s living standards, China’s catering industry hasmaintained a strong momentum of development, and broad prospects for developmentin recent years. The continuously expanding of the catering’s industry and businessscale has made it becoming one of the fastest-growing and developing sector inChina’s domestic consumer market. At the same time, the rapid economicdevelopment of Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture has made Changji people’s livingstandards improved significantly. The demand for catering industry was alsoincreasing. This made the catering industry becoming the highest degree of marketcompetitiveness and the most intense industry in the tertiary industry of Changji HuiAutonomous Prefecture. As entering the golden period of accelerated development,the rapid economic development Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture improved theproportion of the catering industry in national economy, and became an importantforce for economic development Consequently, Depending on the regional advantageon "half-hour economic circle", unique Hui cultural traditions of Changji HuiAutonomous Prefecture, striving to build a Muslim snack township under the name ofChangji. Making the snacks become a large industry, inheriting and carrying forwardHui diet culture and seeking the solutions for the Muslim snack’s sustained, rapid andstable development.By looking for literature, personal interviews, etc., the author analyzes the existingproblems and the factor-driven in the development of Changji Hui snacks Street, andraises the reflection and discussion in the Changji Hui snacks Street Developmentbasing on the above. In this study, the author takes national culture and food-serviceoperators as two important clues for analysis, from the individual to the whole, fromthe concrete development of the halal catering companies to the local development ofthe halal food industry in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture,both comprehensivelyand objectively investigate the micro of a specific halal catering enterprises, andresearch the macro issues involved in the Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture halalfood industry and table development proposals. The research on this topic has areference value for the modernization of the halal food industry in Changji HuiAutonomous Prefecture; is beneficial on cultural heritage and to carrying forward thetraditional food of Changji Hui; is conducive to the Changji Hui’s sustained economicgrowth and promote inter-ethnic unity and social stability
