Abstract


Performance evaluation is the key link of performance management, Performance evaluation of success or not directly affacts the whole performance management effectiveness of the process. Scientific and reasonable performance evaluation system for sales staff can greatly improve their enthusiasm, initiative and creativity during work, and make them achieve or even exceed the scheduled sales targets within the assigned time, thus reaching the overall corporate sales goals and strategic objectives.Based on the study and reference to previous research literature and the theory on the basis of results, To the insurance company HK Company as an example, Performance evaluation system to undertake a comprehensive study. Through a detailed analysis and thorough study of the sales personnel performance evaluation system of this company, it is hoped to effectively improve the efficiency and performance level of the sales staff after the re-design of the old system. Also, it is hoped to provide other sectors of this company or other companies some ideas and methods to evaluate the performance of their staff.This thesis consists of five parts. In part one, an overall introduction is made of the research background and some existing questions, the current research status at home and abroad, the purpose and significance of the study, and the whole thinking of this study with some concrete research methods can be adopted. In the second part, some theoretical knowledge for performance evaluation is presented, providing a theoretical basis and support for later analysis and problem-solving. In the third part, some existing problems and shortcomings of the current performance evaluation system are pointed out through conducting questionnaires and staff interviews on the basis of thorough investigation, and then the causing factors are analyzed in detail. In the fourth part, combining with the actual situations of HK Company, the current sales personnel performance evaluation system will be re-designed by applying modern performance evaluation theories. The last part proposes some guarantee measures to effectively conduct the new performance evaluation system, makes the conclusion of this study and points out the problems to be further studied.
