Abstract


In this paper, for the purpose of preparation of low temperature performance better hardy acrylate rubber . Diethylene glycol monomethyl ether the acrylate ( MOEOEA ) were prepared by first by alkyd esterification method then to MOEOEA to oil resistance, low temperature monomer and acrylic acid ethyl acrylate ( EA ) , butyl acrylate (BA) , and the vulcanization point single vinyl chloroacetate (VCA) of the emulsion copolymerization, the brittleness temperature of up to -30 ° C or below , acrylate rubber . The resulting major conclusions of the results are as follows : 1 in acrylic acid and diethylene glycol monomethyl ether for esterification MOEOEA process , influences the type and amount of the azeotropic agent , the molar ratio of acid to alcohol , the esterification time on the conversion rate and the product yield and purity . When that the benzene azeotropic agent , the amount of 120% of the quality of the raw alcohol , acid and alcohol , the molar ratio of 1.2:1 , the esterification time in the 7-8h esterification rate can reach 94 % .
