Abstract

Objective To investigate the pathological changes of the thymus of patients with myasthenia gravis clinical features . Methods Retrospective analysis of the correlation between the thymus pathology and clinical features of 60 patients with myasthenia gravis and thymic lesions . Results 60 patients thymus tissue manifestations of thymic hyperplasia in 30 patients ( 50%) , 27 patients ( 45%) of thymoma , thymic cysts in 2 cases ( 3.33% ) , the normal thymus cases ( 1.67% ) ; non - thymoma group comparison the thymoma group of patients late onset , male-dominated , and after the crisis, the high incidence of the disease ; another thymoma WTO pathological type and Osserman clinical classification the Masaoka points during consistency ; thymus pathological type and postoperative risk as the incidence of closely related conclusion myasthenia gravis thymus pathological type and its age of onset , gender associated with Osserman clinical classification ( P lt ; 0.01 ) , thymoma the Masaoka staging consistency ( P lt ; 0.01 ) on postoperative crisis occurred highly predictive ( P lt ; 0.05 ) . Comprehensive analysis of the clinical data of patients with myasthenia gravis , helps to develop more targeted treatment programs .
