Abstract


Packaging belongs to the disposable goods which is short-lived. We usually misunderstand the nature of packaging and ignore the further function of it,because we always focus on beautifying the ornament.The living standards is getting better and better as a result of the development of the improved material culture.lt also can result in the destroy of the environment/the waste of nature resources and so on at the same time.The plenty of the castoff packaging has taken a serious influence on our life which can’t be ignored.so Green packaging design arises at the historic moment.The subject takes modern packaging design as an entry point, researching on green packaging design, the subject presents that modern packaging design is an inevitable trend,in which the sustainable green design changes the traditional packaging design and the new design concept replaces the traditional one. Evaluating the symbiotic relationship of green package and environmental protection in designing, reducing the quantity of packaging, avoiding excessive packaging, utilizing recyclable and biodegradable packaging design, while stressing the "humane" and "simple"packaging design. In terms of designing, finding a solution to the perfect combination of packaging design and green elements and providing some realistic reference to the development of green practices on the current packaging design, which can open a new space for the trend of modern packaging design.
