Abstract


Under the dual background of social transformation and Internet development, active actors participate in citizen action via Internet, and they play a role of mobilization. This study uses purposive judgmental sampling to chose special active actors and typical cases of citizen action organized by Internet, and analys web data to describe the patter of Internet organizing citizen action, especially the role of active actors. And on the basis of the civil society theory, citizen action organized by Internet is conductive to the development of civil society and plays an important role in the protection of civic rights and the increasement of citizens’ subject consciousness.
