With the rapid development of logistics in recent years, the important part of logistics——rail transport whose critical infrastructure junction, the rail freight yard is escalating into arailway logistics centers or a rail logistics base, which including changing the sizes of theoriginal yards and changed into customer-centric, with high information technology. With therailway freight yard in Xi’an integrated to large-scale and professional, the truckload cargoworking area in Xi’an rail logistics center conformed to the needs of rail freight and logisticsdevelopment needs, to meet the railway freight service chain extension and rail loadingrequirements, which was integrated to a rail logistics base——the Z Intregrated LogisticsBase.From the construction of Z Intergrated Logistics Base, this paper based in perspectivewhich intend to change the status in the railway transport infrastructure, organizational andservice chain, information technology, to achieve customer-centric, extending rail transportservice chain, improving information technology and so on. Firstly, the paper usedquantitative and qualitative analysis method to combine the layout of railway yard area in theZ Integrated Logistics Base. Among them, the quantitative analysis method based on custom’sdata, with the help of the SPSS statistical analysis software which use the exponentialsmoothing models and modeling experts to finish the forecasting about the every area’sthroughput, with which the paper completed the initial layout. The Qualitative analysis wasthrough the analysis of the potential transports, combined with handling, storage, and otherrequirements for optimization to optimize the initial layout. Secondly, based on thedevelopment needs of extension rail transport services chain, the paper put forward theinformation platform and supply organizations operating strategy.
