Isolation, Identineation, Drug Resistance Deteetion and Drug Resistant Genes of Salmonella from Poult Duck and Dead Duck-embryos in Sichuan and Chongqing

Salmonella strain were isolated and identified from hepars of dead poult ducks (dead duck-embryo292, weak duckling76)which came from defferent duck farms of Si Chuan ang Chong Qing. The results showed that163samples were positive. Meanwhile, Serum were determined with60positive serum of salmonella,163strains were tested for the drug resistance to20conventional antimicrobial agents by means of Kirby-Bauer method, and3kinds of resistant genes of96strains salmonella whose serotype were determined were tested by PCR method. The results were showed as follows:1. Among163salmonella, serogroups of96strains were determined, and they are group of A, B, C and F. Among them, group of C make up of69.8%(65/96), group of A make up of27.1%(28/96). In addition,67strains are rough colony which aren’t determined.2. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of163strains showed that the testing res-ult is worse. All test samples were resistant to Penicillin G and Oxacillin, most of sam-ples were resistant to Cefalexin(85.3%), Ampicillin(90.8%),Tetracycline(90.8%),Neo-mycin(83.5%).Drug resistance rate of Gentamycin(1.8%),Kanamycin(4.3%). Five an-timicrobials,Kanamycin(4.3%),Rocephin(1.8%), Ceftazidine (1.8%),Cefoperazone (7.4%) were less than10%; all strains are not resistant to Amikcin, but9strains among them were medium sensitivity. Multi-drug resistance of87strains(53.4%) concentrated on being resistant to4kinds of antibiotics,32strains(19.6%) were resistant to7kinds of antibiotics,14strains(8.6%) were resistant to9kinds of antibiotics, and6strains(3.7%) were resistant to11kinds of antibiotics.3. All trains were test to verify if they contains resistance genes of Acheomycin, aminoglycosides, Betalactam class and blatem.The result showed that in96salmonella strains of dead duckling,62(64.6%)strains contained resistance genes of blatem,79(63.5%) strains contained resistance genes of tetA,49(51.0%) strains contained resistance genes of aada2,and3kinds of resistance genes were detected in six regions.
