Abstract


The highest purpose of high school chemistry education is to cultivate the chemistry scientific literacy, and the concept of chemical sciences are the core elements of the chemistry of scientific literacy, high school chemistry teaching should help them to form on the basis of specific chemical knowledge to equip students with the concept of chemical sciences. In recent years, many experts and scholars to study the succession of chemical concepts and achieved certain results, but many studies are at the theoretical level to explore how to form a chemical concept of science students, as well as how the formation of the current high school students chemistry concepts little research on the practical level; understanding of the current high school students of chemical science concept formation is the premise that they form a chemical concept of science and practical basis, and therefore proposed the research topic. The chemical scientific concepts students formed on the basis of a systematic study of the high school chemistry curriculum, the overall view of the chemical and general awareness, specific performance for students to take the initiative to apply their knowledge of chemical science, methods and ideas on chemical things and dealing with chemical problems consciousness or behavior. It embodies the literacy level of students in the chemical sciences. Chemical different level and the level of scientific concepts, from the most prominent of chemistry characteristics and high school chemistry scientific literacy point of view, the particle concept, the concept of chemical change, conservation concept, the concept of chemical methods and chemical disciplines values ??identified as the main survey content. Guidance of theoretical research and surveys forecast revisions based on the preparation of the questionnaire has good reliability and validity. The questionnaire is divided into two parts: the first part is a multiple choice of 20 questions (20 points), respectively, to examine the main points of the above concepts; second part of the four short-answer questions (16 points), comprehensive test of the concept of chemical methods, particles concept, the concept of chemical change, and conservation concept. Using questionnaires, individual interviews and classroom observation and other survey methods, Guangxi Yulin City, part of the high school students, especially high school seniors chemical scientific concept construction in-depth investigation, investigated a total of eight secondary schools, 16 classes, issuing survey 964 copies of questionnaires, individual interviews with 32 students, eight chemical classroom teachers observed. The survey data using SPSS16.0 statistical software for processing, and combined with interviews, qualitative analysis of the observational study, was preliminary to the following main conclusions: (1) the current of Yulin City high school students overall degree of chemical science concept formation middle. (2) the formation of a variety of chemical science concepts uneven, some concepts such as the concept of chemical change, conservation the outlook and chemical disciplines values ??relative to the formation of well, others such as particulate concept and method concept is relatively poor. (3) students of chemical science concepts form a close relationship with the mastery of chemical knowledge, but knowledge of chemistry have a good grasp does not mean that a high level of chemical formation of scientific concepts. (4) the formation of chemical science concepts and students' gender and interest in the study of chemistry has little. Discussion and analysis for the conclusion of the study, we promote the formation of chemical science concepts teaching suggestions put forward the following five points: (1) to promote the formation of the high school students of chemical science concepts for the pursuit of goals, emphasis on the implementation of the concept-based teaching. (2) follow the law of the chemical scientific concepts formed, conscious direction and guidance to the students of knowledge to generalize refining step-by-step help students gradually construct the corresponding chemical science concepts. (3) formed to grasp the concept of chemical sciences teaching methods, teaching for destination. (4) in-depth understanding of the students' original concept of the chemical is a misconception based on targeted teaching. (5) teaching to make full use of the chemical history of the development of promote chemical science concept construction. Due to the limitations of the study period, the study sample, as well as researchers own level in the preparation of the questionnaire, survey implementation and data analysis will inevitably inadequate, thus conclusions have yet to be further tested and refined.
