Abstract


History of regional education is the hot issues in currently research of education history, The main porpose of the study about education historical development of Handan regional education is maily for restoring the true process historical development and researching experiences and lessons of education development in this term, so it can offer reference of theory and practice to local education development. This study mainly use the following research methods: literature research, interview, and comparative analysis. Throughing the collection and collation of data, the writor hopes that the study can offter little help to nowdays’education reform in the basis of comprehensive displaying the basic educational state of Handan region in modern society development process.Handan traditional education development was the base of modern education system development . Handan modern education system graducally emerge and develop in the process of foreign intrusion. The emergence of early Christian education, the promulgation of national school system and the cancellation of the imperial examination system were to be the basic reason of establishing a large number of new elementary schools.Diversification of education funding channels showed that , on the one hand , the national and local governments how to treat Education; on the other hand, it also showed that the difficulties and economic conditions during this period. Although the new elementary schools suffered a lot of ups and downs in the generation and development process, but still has gradually become the mainstream of education, train a large number of students in the years to promote social progress and development. Handan middle school appeared in 1902, 1903 recent years, Yongnian and Daming. This two schools trained a large number of community leaders in the 30 years of development, some of them active in the military, political and some become scientists, and some are sacrificed foe the revolution in their lives. Teacher education in this area first as the Taichung Teachers, and this name went a number of changes, in 1923, the establishment of the Provincial seventh Normal School pushed the local normal education to a climax. The seventh Normal School and The fifth Women School trained a lot of teaching staff for the education development, to be an integral part of modern education.After the July 7 incident of 1937, Handan area was divided into three parts: puppet occupation, guerrilla and anti-Japanese base areas, there is different characteristics in education for these parts. After Japan’s surrender, the district got the liberation graducally, and the education was develping toward practical and obligations. Throughout the history of the development of modern education in Handan, we saw different characteristics in different times, and this revealing the difficuties and setbacks of building education system. The establishment of the new educational system is not easy, it requires a faily long time to make it really easy to understand, agree and put their own actions. The guiding of state policies and actively pushing of local political power have an deep impact in the process of promoting new types of education.
