Abstract


the artist cuibai is one of the important representative artist in the bei songdynasty, his appearance has changed the bei song”s flower and bird paintings of “richand powerful”shuang jia” and broken conventions stay in the same old routine, samestyle,cuibai and his students”s example spurred the bei song art academy”s art styletends towards: between gongbi and freehand brushwork. The artist chibai”s thiscreatist artistic work have drived the nan song dynasty of paintings of wash-freehandbrushwork”s appreace and have produced the yuan dynasty of the wash brushwork”sflower-and-bird.The main structure of this paper is divided into three parts. One for the cuibaiflower-and-bird painting style thought research, mainly into two elements: enquireinto the artic origins and historical context. The second through explor and reachseveral representative the cuibai flower-and-bird work, bring to light the factor ofproducing works of art.the third discuss and analyse the cuibai flower-and-bird picturefrom creation and have an influence on future generations.The artist cuibai in beisong dynasty is one of the important famous experts notonly his work”s transformations but also his opening. His original effect in thebeisong flower-and-bird field is obvious, his creative thought and practice, to thecontemporary painting of flowers-a nd-birds, the demonstration and leadingsignificance is self-evident.
