To improve the F1powerboat World Championship operational level, promote the event reputation and develop its market in a better and faster way, this paper carries a further research on Chinese grand prix market current situation of F1powerboat world championship, fills the gap of related research on F1powerboat championship in time and enrich the research study as well. It has great theoretical significance and practical values to fully exert the function and effect of the event and to further boom the F1powerboat market at same time. And what’s more, it provides certain theoretical basis, methods study for the subsequent studies and provides basis for the Chinese grand prix F1powerboat championship ,as well as other events.Based on the document literature law, expert talks, field investigation, logical analysis and other methods, this paper starts its presentation from the major participants of China Shenzhen grand prix of F1powerboat championship(providing subject and demand subject). According to demand-supply theory, this paper carries in-depth analysis on the current situations of the following three aspects: market development, media operation and event promotion activity. Besides, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and Suggestions according to the existing problems.Research results shows that:1. Operational experience (inspiration): We should attach importance to the tournament, inviting famous international marketing operation masters Michael Payne to join the water F1. We should also pay high attention to the China’s advertising resources development and various forms of preheating activities related and powerful media as well. The government’s support and actively participation of in competitions operation organization is the vital external conditions of success. And it is necessary to innovate and improve the competition fund-raising way and improve the ability of fund self-sustaining and profit and loss.2. Existing problems: Now, the F1powerboat event still has weak influence and brand publicity and impact. Competition resources exploitation and utilization also still in a low level. However, the ticket price is high with a single form. There are few franchised commodity to be developed. The television ratings is low. For promotion activities, on one hand, the scale is relatively small and its scope is narrow; On the other hand, the connection or relation between the promotion activities is small. There isn’t strong interaction system and naturally there will no powerful influence.Operational Strategies on promoting China Shenzhen F1powerboat championship: First, increasing the competition exploitation ability and the commercial value (includes): 1) Increase the competition resources. 2. Improve ticketing management and sales abilities. 3) Improve game terrain resource utilization. 4) Increase the development of business charter products. Second, expanding its mass base and improving event’s mass media operation(includes ): 1) Strengthening cooperation with mass media, take the TV for example and enhance the publicity of the even by media promotion. 2) Make exploitation film and film highlights events to attract more audience. Third, creating international brand of the event and promote its awareness(includes): 1)Determine the core audience and improve public attention and participation of the event by some certain measures. 2) Look to the future and cultivate our own F1powerboat team member. 3). Improve sports competition grade and its splendidness. 4) Promote its internal management and introduce higher level of management personnel. 5. Introduce professional operation and improve F1 competition market analysis ability with constantly innovation.
