Party system, as the most dynamic elements in the political system, its related research exists in the center of the national democratic transition layer. It becomes a focus in the study among Chinese and foreign scholars. Taking an overview of the situation of world politics in the second half of the20th century, different degree of unstable factors appeared especially in the countries in Asia and Africa successively, such as ethnic conflict, military coups, social unrest and so on. The solution in maintaining the stability of political development under the tide of democratization in the non-western countries becomes a considerable issue.As same as other Asian countries, Malaysia attained its independence in the Southeast Asia after World War Ⅱ. It has achieved its own modernization function with stable political situation and rapid economic development. It provides valuable experiences for those countries which are still in democratic transition or in the cage of the authoritarian politics. One of the most noteworthy phenomenon is "One-Party Dominant System" in Malaysia. This is a seemingly authoritarian political party system in the country which has a multi-racial and multi-cultural society structure plays a good function of political stability. As an Asian developing country, Malaysia hasn’t copied the western model of development, but walked out of a special political party system which suited to its national conditions characteristics. The reason is worth thinking. At the same time, Malaysia provides the precious experience and reference for the other developing countries to deal with ethnic harmony development and political stability."One-Party Dominant System" in Malaysia is the research object in this article. The author analyzed the formation of Malaysia’s political party system, and how did the "One-Party Dominant System" played the function of political stability. Full-text is divided into five chapters. First chapter concluded the introduction of the corresponding research significance, knowledge background, and introduces the related concepts for "One-Party Dominant System" in Malaysia; the second chapter and the third chapter described the history of "One-Party Dominant System" in Malaysia; the fourth chapter analyzed the evolution of motivation in Malaysia’s "One-Party Dominant System", explained in two aspects of behavior analysis and structure analysis to study the impact of group behavior, leader behavior, the electoral system and economic policy in Malaysian political system development. The fifth chapter included summarizes and prospects to explain how the Malaysian "One-Party Dominant System" played its role in political stability, and then analyzed the movements of political system and its revelations.
