Since the year of2001, a new round of curriculum reform in basic education has been in the practice for13years, the effect of the reform in the professional development of teachers decides the success of the curriculum reform. Language is the base tool to learn other courses. The professional development of the Chinese teachers plays an pivotal role in the curriculum reform. China is considered as a multi national country. And in Hunan province there are46ethnic minorities, mainly are Miao, Yao, Dong, and Tujia, which accounted for more than40%of the total population of Hunan. As the reasons of history,geography and environment, the economic and social development in the area are largely behind, people there has their own language and culture so it is difficult for them to adopt to the main culture,as a result,the teachers’ professional development limited. The Chinese language teacher development mode there has some problems, such as:teacher development mode is single, and the quality is not high; lack of experts leading; the opportunities for Chinese teachers to receive further study are less; lack of cooperation culture atmosphere in school; lack of innovation and national characteristics in training mode.This thesis is based on a scientific research, introduce a four linkage backbone teachers professional development mode:the government work as the leader factor,the school basic training works as the key point; reseachers of Chinese courses act as guidances; using internet and seminar as platforms; and the universities play a role as the teacher training base. This subject focuses on the investigation of Huaihua area national minority language the professional quality of teachers and the reform of new curriculum adaptability, research to improve the training mode of teachers professional level, draw the innovation mode with national characteristics and feasible, and put forward strategies and suggestions, for the leadership decision-making reference. The purpose is to improve the professional level of minority teachers, promote the development of national education, realize the education fair, common development and prosperity of all ethnic groups, all has the vital significance to realize the "Chinese dream".
