As one of the foundations academic disciplines of education, psychology has a certain significance and impact on the evolution of educational thought, the expansion of education resources and the innovation of the education system. Education covers not only acquisition and application of knowledge, improving students’ individual physical and mental health, comprehensive development, cultivate students’ sound personality are also the important parts of education. While teaching book knowledge, educators should focus on understanding the essence and characteristics of the students’ psychological development, mastering of students’ development stage and law, in order to educating and teaching better and more effectively, and allowing students to accomplish self-perfection while they gain knowledge. The theoretical knowledge is action-oriented, changes in the methods of education requires a corresponding theoretical support. Humanistic Psychology emphasized the human nature, value and dignity, the ultimate goal is a natural, effective and sufficient to achieve human development. As one of outstanding representative person in Humanistic Psychology, Maslow’s Self-actualization Theory commits to study human nature intrinsic value as a starting point to determine the analysis on a variety of intrinsic value, derived the specific form of human needs, exploring the corresponding internal demand required to meet, and ultimately to explore the road towards self-actualization. The theory for the education sector provides an effective theoretical basis for shift books’ to the humanistic.As the times progress and social development, attention on students’ physical and mental development is growing. Specific to the Chinese-teaching, it mentions on greater emphasis on quality factors of the influence of students’ cultural, aesthetic education, emotional culture and personality perfect all-round development of culture. This thesis’s research goal is to summarize and expand the penetration of the humanistic spirit in Chinese-teaching according to analysis and discuss Maslow’s theory and the basis of previous researches. Researching methods are literature and case analysis. Intended to promote the rich connotation of humanities in Chinese-teaching, and enhance teaching the students the correct outlook on life, values, and sound personality and other aspects of culture, provide a viable path to guide learners and to effectively realize their own value during Chinese-teaching.
