Contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization is one of the hot topics of current research areas of Marxism. In universities that are important fronts for training intellectuals in minority ethnic regions, a major issue concerned by contemporary higher education is how to maintain Marxism the mainstream ideology among minority ethnic college students. As society changes, minority ethnic college students continuously broaden the access to information, and their values and way of life have shown diversifying trends. Under such circumstances, it is worthwhile to discuss and study how to better promote the contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization in universities in minority ethnic regions.Combining theory and practice, this paper articulates the status quo, contents, characteristics and approaches of contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization in universities in minority ethnic regions, which is of vital theoretical and practical significance in better promoting the contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization in universities in these regions.This paper consists of six chapters. Chapter One, Introduction, describes the sources and bases of the orientation of the paper, and research significance and research status quo. Chapter Two thoroughly discusses scientific connotations of the contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization from the perspectives of the public, popularization, concepts and meanings of contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization, and the relationship between Chinese Marxism and Marxism popularization. Chapter Three examines the inner relations between universities and the contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization, in terms of possibilities and particular significance of promoting contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization in universities. Chapter Four analyzes the status quo of promoting contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization in universities in minority ethnic regions, mainly including the negative impact of the social environment on minority students, lack of contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization education in universities in such regions, and particularities of minority college students. Chapter Five explores the solutions to the problems in promoting the contemporary Chinese Marxism popularization in universities in minority ethnic regions, mainly through enhancing leadership, raising awareness, and improving the management mechanism; strengthening team building and improving qualities of the promoters; enriching working carriers and diversifying the promoting approaches.
