The technology of coal-fired boiler to supply heating has been widely applyed to thenorthern of China and it is also an economical method in supplying heating.The mainprinciple of the technology is to use the burning of coal heating boiler, when thetemperature of water which in the boiler fits the requirements, the circulating pump will beused to sent hot water to the related area and at the same time sendback the cool water tothe boiler. Through the cycle of system, we can achieve the purpose of heating.SCM,as a rapidly developing field-programmable gate array, with its unique lowpower consumption, high density and short cycle of exploit, less software investment,lower price, make it great attraction to the market.The system with a combination of SCMand coal-fired boiler not only has realistic background but also has a great meaning ofinnovation.Adopting SCM produced by Atmel company as a core of the controller, designing aautomatic coal-fired boiler heating system.It can control air blower, boiler coalingmachine and circulating pump automatically according to the user’s set.When the watertemperature or fire box temperature is over, the boiler water level is lower and the coalmachine is overloading, the controller can alarm automatically. In a long-term perspective,the automatic coal-fired boiler heating system based on the technology will have a broadmarket prospect with the further development of SCM. The system’s traits are safe andreliable, and it has load automatic adjustment, heating stability, automation programcontrol, easy installation and maintenance, what’s more, it’s can realize the unattendedoperation, it’s an ideal heating equipment.
