Abstract


"Villages inside cities" is a unique existence in China where the pace of urbanization is accelerated faster than ever and thus it receives enormous attention in a great number of cities. The segregation between the urban and the rural predisposes the management, the environment as well as the social relations of the "villages inside cities" to such a deplorable situation that it is supposed to be high on the agenda for the further development of the whole city is hindered by its defects.As the basis in drawing up the design plan descriptions of the construction project, the feasibility study virtually corresponds to the major step in the preliminary period. On the other hand, the feasibility study of a project, the basic work in the capital construction management, is the scientific method to ensure that the best economic results can be achieved through the minimum investment. Consequently, the feasibility study is of great significance to the decision and the operation of the whole project.The thesis attempts to make a recommendation whether the project is worth investing or not by anticipating its economic benefits as well as the social impact, which is acquired by employing the theory of project management and analyzing its market demand, construction scale, financing and profitability. In the light of the close practicality to the actual situation, the project must be aware of the very features of Liujiazhuang with experience of other "villages insides cities" under consideration.
