It increases the income of the local residents, improvesthe standard of living, promotes local economy.But, the popular tourism brings somenegative effect.On the one hand,serious environmental pollution,ecologicalimbalances,sharp contradiction between tourism and the environment. On the otherhand, Most tourists think their own culture as the center,that causes tension between thelocal residents and tourists, At the same time,their unethical behavior lead thecommunity order into chaos.In addition, popular tourism brings vicious competitionbetween the residents, conflicts between the residents and the government.Therefore, toachieve”Tourism Ethics”, we must sovle the mass tourism damage to the society andculture. At this time, new kind of tourism form starts with a peaceful attitude towardssociety, with charitable attitude towards culture come up.This paper is built up by multi-disciplinary perspective that includes tourismsociology, tourism anthropology,cultural anthropology and some other subject.It mainlyanalyses the features of alternative tourism through Man-land relationship,the hosts andvisitors,internal and external relations of community.In order to exlore the model andrule of alternative tourism for popular tourism and alternative tourism research,Icompared with them.Full-text is divided into six parts:the first part is introduction whichmainly discusses the research background and significance,and then combings domesticand internative literature,at last summarizes research method,logicalstructure,innovation.the second part is the theoretical basis of alternative tourismresearch which introduces development background,connotation,type andcharacteristics,influence,and then explains some theoretical basis includingEnvironmental ethics,Subject-object communication theory,Symbolic interationtheory,Filed theory,the theory of increasinf power and so on.The third part mainly analyses the features of alternative tourism relations which is compare with populartourism relations to distinguish the difference in Man-land relationship,Subject-objectrelations and community relations.The fouth part is about the empirical research ofpublic tourism in Sichuan.First of all,the general situation of public tourism in Sichuanis introduced,and then to research public tourism substantially in Sichuan by acomparative analysis on the Jinbo village of Wenchuan Cnunty,radish village inWenchuan County,Taoping Qiang village in Li County,finally summarizes thecharacterstics of public tourism and puts forward some development suggestions basedon the case research.The fifth part is about how to construct the harmonious relationshiparound man-land relations,subject-object relations and community relations ofalternative tourism. The last part is the conclusion.as well as as the lack of research andprospect.
