Abstract

In the intense circumstances of domestic and foreign competition, innovation is the key factors to support the progress and development of the small and medium-sized financial institutions in our country, and is the best tools for the small and medium-sized financial services in our country which is in the competition.With the rapid development of economy in our country, small and medium financial institutions gradually become a kind of effective power to providing financial services for the society and small and medium-sized enterprises. So, to study and evaluate the current situation in time of innovation ability of small and medium-sized financial services in our country help to provide scientific basis and feasible countermeasure for the development of it, so as to improve the innovation ability and the enterprise competitiveness of small and medium-sized financial services in our country and to make up the insufficient of resource allocation of the large financial institutions in our country.To begin with, the research situation at home and abroad of financial innovation have been analyzed and studied in this paper, and on the basis of referencing the study of outstanding scholars at home and abroad, which is related to the innovation ability, the thesis reconstruct and summarize the concept, content and theory relating to the Innovation ability, and finally defined the connotation of financial innovation.Next, this paper has summarized the characteristics and development status of small and medium-sized financial institutions in our country, and presented its important role in the economic development in our country. Through the research of the status of innovation ability and the existing problems of small and medium-sized financial institutions in our country, the thesis has concluded some key factors which influence the financial innovation of small and medium-sized financial institutions in our country.Then, on the basis of key factors that influence financial innovation of small and medium-sized financial institutions in our country, this thesis has built a index system which is suitable for the comprehensive Evaluation of innovation ability for small and medium-sized financial institutions in our country. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) has been used to determine the weight of each evaluation index, and linear weighted method has been chosen to evaluate the innovation ability of small and medium-sized financial institutions in our country, and computation steps of the comprehensive evaluation has been briefly introduced at the end of this part.Finally, this paper takes wuhan rural commercial bank as the research object, and selects the Industrial bank, MinSheng bank and HanKou bank as sample set, and makes a horizontal and vertical analysis for it. and then verifying the feasibility and validity of the evaluation index system, and putting forward some opinions and Suggestions for the development of wuhan rural commercial bank innovation according to the result of the empirical analysis.The purpose of this study is to build an evaluation index system which is suitable for the innovation ability of China’s small and medium-sized financial services, in order to provide a scientific basis for measuring the abilities of innovation of our country’s small and medium-sized financial institutions. Through this research I get a lot of knowledge about finance, and I also hope that the development of small and medium-sized financial services in our country will become better and better.
