Abstract


With the building of the proposed concept of a harmonious society , the work of building a harmonious society to carry out , and we recognize that not only economic and social harmony , but also in political harmony . Therefore , on the basis of economic development , we must also continue to improve the level of development of democratic politics . The first thing to do to improve the level of development of democratic politics is to raise the level of political participation of the residents , political participation is the core of the modern political democracy advocate active political participation can effectively run the rights of the citizens are effectively protected , the democratic system . The concept of political participation , morphology and its influencing factors , academia has been extensively studied , has also created a lot of different points of view . This study summarizes the research of scholars on the basis of starting from the educational point of view , to gather relevant data and use of spss16.0 statistical analysis of the data , and demonstrate the role of education in the political participation of urban residents . In this paper, the application of urban residents to join the party , the neighborhood elections as well as to participate in a collective protest three political participation , in-depth analysis , and draw conclusions . The results show that : have a significant impact on the behavior of the level of education for urban residents to apply to join the party ; different educational levels of urban residents to participate in the voting behavior of the neighborhood committee elections have significant differences ; educational level of urban residents to participate in a collective protest behavior there are a significant impact .
