Abstract


As we all know, the sound quality of synthesized speech in the speech synthesis system is evaluated in many aspects, such as: clarity, intelligibility, naturalness, coherence and participle correctness. With the continuous development of speech synthesis technology, people put forward higher requirements to the naturalness of synthesized speech. In order to further enhance the naturalness of synthesized speech, at first, a predictive method known as decision tree based on C45 is applied and then the construction of prosodic layer in Uyghur mainly discussed in this paper, based upon these basics two kinds of boundary prediction methods proposed and implemented the automatic prosodic layers boundary prediction. To make the sound quality of synthesized speech more similar to the human voice, some detailed works done as follows:1. Various relevant theories about pausing in Uyghur are studied deeply, through putting these theories into practice, pausing habits of common people in daily life are further studied, summed up a series of common phenomenon and initially draw up pausing principles.2. Takes the naturalness enhancement of TTS system as a research background, mainly study the construction of duration models of prosodic layer in declarative sentences, did some validation task before data collection, namely uses statistic methods to establish duration models between prosodic layers. The research results show that the thoughts and methods for the particular problem in this paper are feasible.3. Base on the drawn up principals for boundary segmentation of prosodic layers in Uyghur, then completed the process of prosodic level tagging for 10610 representative sentences manually, these works build a solid basis for the naturalness of synthesized speech . 4. implemented the POS (part of speech) tagging ,at first, according to the characteristics of specific application field, the category of parts used in POS tagging and the rules are confirmed, candidate sentences are selected and are tagged by manually, then POS probability list tables and relative occurring position information tables of POS are achieved by statistics, and at last, the automatic POS tagging method is implemented through adopting bigram model on the basis of HMM model in Uyghur .5. Tested the automatic segmentation of prosodic phrases by using decision tree.6. Make sure the implementation of automatic segmentation algorithm of prosodic layers based on words and syllables, and validate the feasibility of this algorithm by practical examples.
