This thesis work is mainly divided into two parts: (a) a class of efficient, non-toxic, low smoke, cost-effective mix of different anions intercalated hydrotalcite preparation of flame retardants (2) flame retardants and LDPE sample preparation into a composite material, the thermal decomposition, flame retardancy and mechanical properties. This study is based hydrotalcite layer can be inserted between layers of anion and adjustable denaturation, respectively, stirring, ultrasonic and microwave radiation in three conditions, the carbonate, Y, phosphate, silicate, X radical introduction of different acid radicals hydrotalcite interlayer, get a mix of different kinds radical new type of zinc intercalated Mg-Al LDHs (ZR-0, ZR-1, ZR-2 ... ZR-12) has a good synergistic flame, smoke effects. Using X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, infrared spectroscopy samples were characterized by means of ZR. Synthetic hydrotalcite obtained mixed fatty acid modified after a high stirring mixture of LDPE, extrusion granulation, injection molding made of composite material, and then test the flame retardant properties, mechanical properties, the composite material was observed after burning SEM image. Studies show that in the test sample, X radical and carbonate mixed in a 1:1 molar ratio of intercalated retardant Zn-Mg-Al hydrotalcite (ZR-12) of LDPE have better thermal oxidative decomposition retard effect, the thermal decomposition temperature of widths up to 337.24 degrees; the X radical with a different molar ratio of carbonate to hydrotalcite intercalated between layers, characterized by thermal analysis found ZR-12-A than ZR-12 has better 对 LDPE The retard effect, the decomposition temperatures of up to 365.36 degrees, the ZR-12 and ZR-12-A, Japan, Korea and China were five kinds of hydrotalcite and Al (OH) 3 , Mg (OH ) 2 flame-retardant properties, mechanical properties and smoke density test contrast; find ZR-12-A/LDPE ratio of 40/60, ZR-12-A/LDPE composite oxygen Index (29%) than ZR-12/LDPE composite oxygen index (28%) is slightly higher; while ZR-12-A/LDPE composite smoke effect (maximum smoke density is 16.44) Queyuanburu ZR-12 / LDPE composites (maximum smoke density of 0.24), the horizontal burning test have passed Grade FH-1. Found ZR-12-A/LDPE tensile strength elongation at break and impact strength are improved: It can be seen from the SEM image, ZR-12-A/LDPE observed after burning a more dense and well cover, which is consistent with the results of flame-retardant properties, and thus the type of hydrotalcite alone smoke as a class of new flame retardants used efficiently as possible.
