Abstract

This article is concerned with the filtration rate, ingestion rate, absorption efficiency, respiration rate excretion rate and energy budget equations of Hiatula chinensis under different temperature and salinity. At the same time, the effect of different reaction temperature and salinity on activities of four digestive enzymes of Hiatula chinensis was examined. The main results were as follows:1. The peak of filtration rate and ingestion rate appeared at 25℃.The maximum values of filtration rate of the big and small size of Hiatula chinensis were 11.94±0.86 L/g.h、18.71±1.29 L/g.h; The maximum values of filtration rate of the big and small size of Hiatula chinensis were 3.18±0.27 mg/g.h,4.51±0.19 mg/g.h. The absorption efficiency, respiration rate and excretion rate increased then decreased with the raising of temperature. The peak of them appeared at 25°C also. The filtration rate, ingestion rate, absorption efficiency, respiration rate and excretion rate were all decreased with the raising of the dry tissues weight.2. When the temperature reached 25℃, the maximum energy for growth of the big and small size accounted for 56.5 % and 60.9 % of the energy intake, respectively. And the minimum energy for growth of the big and small size accounted for -22.3 % and -14.5 % of the energy intake, respectively when the temperature reached 35℃.3. The filtration rate, ingestion rate and absorption efficiency increased then decreased with the raising of salinity. The peak of filtration rate and ingestion rate appeared at salinity of 28. But the respiration rate and excretion rate decreased then increased with the raising of salinity. The minimum of the respiration rate and excretion rate appeared at salinity of 28.4. The results indicated that the optimum temperatures of protease, amylase, cellulose and lipase both in the liver and crystalline style are 30℃、35℃、35℃、30℃,respectively. The activities of the protease and amylase are higher than the cellulose and lipase. The activities of the enzymes in the liver are higher than those in the crystalline style.5. The maximum activities of the protease, amylase, cellulose and lipase in the liver and crystalline style appeared at the salinity of 28.6. Histological of alimentary canal (stomach, style sac, intestine) of Hiatula chinensis was studies. The results showed that the wall of the alimentary canal is made of two layers: tunica mucosa and tunica sub mucosa. The epithelial cells of the alimentary canal are mainly ciliated columnar cells. There are a few of mucoas cells in the intestine.
