This study was designed by the non - English majors learning burnout of college English teaching reform situation under investigation , and analysis of its causes and effects , and to provide relevant theoretical and empirical basis for future teaching reform . The research questions of this paper are: 1 ) college English teaching reform situation under the current situation of non- English majors learning burnout how ? 2 ) What are the potential causes of the students' learning burnout ? In this study, using questionnaires and interviews to obtain research data . 06 from the China Institute of Metrology, measurement and control professional 40 students participated in the survey , six students participated in the interviews . According to the available data in the study , the researchers found that : 1 ) the non-English majors in the whole basis of English learning process showing different levels of learning burnout , burnout time varies from person to person . 2) lead to the reasons for non- English majors learning burnout a lot can be broadly summarized as follows : the student level ( lack of career planning , learning objectives are not clear , learning strategies improper selection , lack of self-confidence and persistence inputs ) ; teachers level ( lack of responsibility and teaching strategies ) ; learning environment level ( class sizes are too large , inconsistent style of teaching and learning , the usual PPP teaching methods exist problem , inadequate school facilities and policies ) ; textbook level ( textbook space too long , the words too much practice design focused well enough ), . The limitations of this study are: 1 ) sampling from an executive class , reflected on behalf of all non-English majors can not guarantee 100 % ; 2 ) In view of the complexity of the language teaching outside the classroom , such as biogenic regional differences in factors not do in-depth research and analysis .
