Abstract


With the methods of documentary review,expert interview,field investigation,and induction analysis,the development status quo, causes and problems of Meihuaquan are deeply and systematically researched.The conclusions and suggestions are as follows.In the villages of Hebei,Shandong,Henan and so on,Meihuaquan has penetrated into the life of the local people as their main activities in the spack season of the farming.Combined with local conventions, it has integrated vairous festivals and become a program everybody loved and enjoyed.In the practicing of Meihuaquan,one can keep fit,and even some pupils are proficient in medicine and always do medical services for the villagers,which is very important in the villages where the system of the medical treatment is still under-developmented.The spreading of Meihuaquan in the univeisities breaks the traditional teaching mode and gets a huge development.Today,the Stratagem for One Hundred Years Based on Education,and the school becomes the main body of education development.Therefore,univeisity is the direction of the development of Meihuaquan.Meihuaquan can be comprehended by the person who is well educated and has a profound background of chinese cultural.However,in period of turbulence,the elder generation of Meihuaquan masters has not received a good education,which made some essences lost.Nowadays,in high schools,Meihuaquan has produced a lot of outstanding talented persons,among whom some now are professors, government officers or managers of companies,and some are studying for the degree of Master or Doctor.The man Meihuaquan trains is like Yuefei who likes a hero at war while liking a gentlemen in peace.Meihuaquan reflects the spirit of chinese traditional culture,which is the reason why it is very popular among the people in Shanxi,Hebei, Shandong and Henan,and develops very quickly in high schools of Shandong. This culture has an infinite magic power and attracted numerous person who have a passion for the Kungfu.Meihuaquan is a kind of outstanding chinese traditioinal Kungfu,which has a complete system and practice. Therefore,to develop and inherit Meihuaquan is to develop and to inherit the chinese traditional culture.Meihuaquan should pay attention to the combination of the development in villages and high schools.Meihuaquan in rural areas is related closely with the historical monument,the elder generation boxers and the local customs,which gives the students a sensitive understanding of the boxing,as well as helps many people to know that the local develement of Meihuaquan means something.Both,both sides make some communication with eath other now,however,they don not reach the stage that certain communicational conferences of Meihuaquan should be hold periodically.This will be benigant to develop and hand down this boxing.Anyway,the historical and cultural contents of Meihuaquan are not inferior to the Shaolin and the Shadow boxing,but the industrial mode and brand effect of Meihuaquan.Further more,even persons who know this boxing in the martial field are not many.Expecting a great grewth,Meihuaquan should not only draw lessons from management method and principles of the growth of successful boxings,for example,Shaolin and Shadow boxing,it also need absorb the good business models and principles from abroad,say,people should develop and manage Meihuaquan as a cultural industry,for whatever is of the world should be of a nation.People should develop this culture in such a way that it can be fixed with international competitive ability------playing culture in the first place and using unique images and brands.
